रिश्ते-नाते

--------------
 

कितने विस्तृत होते थे

वो रिश्ते-नाते,

जितना विस्तार

उतना ही

ठोस आधार,

जितना कठिन जीवन

उतने ही सरल लोग,

ढूँढ ही लेते थे

सभी में

मानवता का रिश्ता;

कितना प्रेम-भाव,

कितना अपनापन,

और कितनी सहजता

होती थी

हमारे पूर्वजों में

परायों के प्रति भी;

अब

जीवन सरल हो गया है

वस्तुतः

रिश्ते सिमट गये हैं.
